Ray - Hi John love the show and a huge fan!! My question is, do you think as each year goes by the Oscars are becoming less relevant! In the USA alone 38 million people watch the Oscars yet 246 million people went to the cinema that means only about 15% care about the Oscars?
Luis De La Peña - I've followed all your work since late 2014. On to my question: Could Netflix buying the Cloverfield Paradox movie be the first symptom of production companies selling their mid to high budget films they don't trust they'll do well in theaters? Thanks for taking my question and bring on the filthy!
Martin Bridgewater - With the announcement that Benioff and Weiss are doing a series of Star Wars films I heard you mention that it could mean Star Wars goes to 2 films per year. But what if the new films are made for the streaming service? Is it possible that these new films are going to be a series on the new Disney streaming service?
Thomas Paterson - After the praise that has been given to Jordan’s Killmonger in Black Panther, I started thinking about other Phase 3 villains. While Doctor Strange’s and Civil War’s villains were weak, Vulture, and, to lesser extents, Hela and Ego (who were more serviceable than past antagonists), I felt were much better than them and past villains. Do you think Marvel might finally be making better villains?
