Genaro Fortosse - Have you seen the Uncharted online fan film that has Nathan Fillion and Stephen Lang in it? I know it’s just a simple online fan film and we tend to overpraise those, but hot damn I thought it was excellent. Do you think there’s any chance a studio sees it and decides to do a full feature film of it if enough fans respond to it?
Nathan Nafeek - Aquaman is going to show its first trailer at Comic-Con this week and I know there has been some speculation that they also might announce a change in release date (that would be so cool!) But I saw today there’s a new poster. So 2 questions. First, what do you think of the poster? And second, does the december 21st date at the bottom pretty much confirm that they’re not changing dates? Thanks and bring on the filthy!
Bruce Wayne Man - I’ve been waiting for some news on the Dune remake forever. They announced Denis Villenueve was going to directed it which is amazing cause I loved Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, Sicaro, Prisoners and just everything he’s made. Then there’s no news for ages. Today I see that Timothee Chalamet is in talks for the lead role. What I don’t see is if that role is in fact Paul Atreides. Also, does this mean the movie is still happening? I wasn’t sure after Blade Runner didn’t do so well. Thanks!
Randy Vive - I know you love MoviePass so I’m sure you saw that once again the stock of the company dropped to record lows. It’s now down to 11 cents a share. It was at $38 dollars a share less than a year ago. With all the surcharges, premium prices and shady dealings, honestly how much longer does the company have before it goes under?
Shawn Shackleford - As a fan of the original manga, I'm looking forward to the Alita: Battle Angel movie. There's a lot great talent behind it, plus the teaser already shows a very faithful adaptation. However, most people don't know what it is and seem to be uninterested. Combined this with the 175-200 million dollar budget, and packed December (thanks J.J. Abrams) , even if the film is great does it stand a chance?
