With how different Star Wars has been over the past 4 decades, is it possible for Episode 9 - The Rise of Skywalker to have an ending that will satisfy all generations of fans?
The fandom is certainly a heated place right now, but that's nothing new. If you were alive and online in 1999 you felt a very similar rift then, too. Star Wars lived on. The generation that grew up with the prequels has grown up to have a voice, and are defending their Star Wars. With that being said, it's going to be very interesting to see what JJ Abrams does in episode 9 to bridge (or not, who knows) to bridge the entire saga.
Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker will be one an exciting ride, no matter how it turns out. How is Emperor Palpatine back? What does JJ Abrams have up his sleeve? I can't wait. Fingers crossed.
